The Wrong Size Debacle: A Series of Mistakes
In this post, I recount the repeated frustration of receiving incorrectly sized replacement panels from NanaWall. Learn about how multiple mismeasurements not only delayed the project but also caused serious issues during the installation process.

From the start of our NanaWall installation, it became clear that the promise of custom-fit panels was not being fulfilled. The first set of doors was ordered with measurements that didn’t fit the space, forcing the installation team to make on-the-fly adjustments that compromised the structural integrity of our home. It was frustrating, but we assumed that once the correct panels were ordered, the problem would be resolved.
We were wrong.
The next few rounds of replacement panels arrived, but astonishingly, they were also the wrong size—multiple times. The installers had no choice but to try forcing these ill-fitting panels into place, leading to visible gaps and, in some cases, damaged surroundings. Each new set that arrived was met with the same issue, despite the fact that Andy Cook, the NanaWall representative, had personally visited the site to measure twice. His repeated failure to ensure the right dimensions for custom-made panels only worsened the situation.
This series of missteps caused further delays and mounting frustration. Instead of the seamless, luxurious experience we were promised, we were left dealing with mismanagement and poorly sized products. The lack of attention to detail, paired with NanaWall’s inability to address these errors, turned what should have been a straightforward process into an ongoing headache.
What’s worse, every incorrect panel meant another round of installation nightmares—more time, more money, and more disappointment.
